• How far ahead should I order a birthday cake from Kake Planet?

  We recommend booking standard birthday cakes at least five days ahead of your event. Larger sculpted designs or tiered celebration cakes need seven to ten days. Weekends and public holidays fill up faster. A last-minute order sometimes works if our production calendar has a slot, so it's always worth calling our Science Park shop to check.

• What cake flavors does Kake Planet offer?

  A tasting gives you the best preview of flavor, texture, and frosting style before you commit to a design. At Kake Planet we arrange a tasting box with three flavor combinations, which you can pick up or have delivered. You taste, share feedback, and we finalize the recipe for your date. Booking a tasting ahead of time is smart, especially during Dubai's busy wedding season from October through April.

• How long do Kake Planet cakes stay fresh after delivery?

  Our cakes stay fresh for up to three days when stored in the refrigerator in a sealed container or a covered cake box. Bring them to room temperature for about an hour before serving so the sponge softens and the filling flavor comes through. Fondant-covered cakes sweat if moved directly from cold to warm air, so give them time to adjust on the counter. Freezing whole decorated cakes is not recommended.
