Owned and personally managed by Dan and Fay Opala since late 2017, Bolehill Farm is a hands-on, family-run business with a rich heritage. Fay grew up across the road on Melbourne Farm, and the couple now live on-site with their young son, Max. This deep local connection and genuine pride in their home shines through in every detail, from the sympathetic restoration of the farm buildings to the thoughtful practical touches found inside each cottage. Our eight unique cottages are set around a charming central courtyard, each lovingly converted to preserve original Derbyshire character while meeting the needs of modern life. With accommodation sleeping between one and six guests—and a total capacity of 27 across the whole site—we can cater to couples, families, and groups alike. Every cottage features its own enclosed outdoor seating area, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable living spaces designed for relaxation after a day of adventure. We offer the flexibility of any-day arrival and departure with a minimum two-night stay, making it easy to plan a break that fits your schedule.
