Since its inauguration by Vice Admiral Arun Prakash on December 27, 2002, IDSC has evolved into a cornerstone of the defence community in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. For over two decades, the complex has been continuously upgraded, now offering a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art facilities. The club is entirely member-funded and managed by a dedicated committee, ensuring that every service and amenity is tailored to the specific needs and high standards of the officer community it serves.

• The Sports Bar: A newly redesigned space inaugurated on April 14, 2023, featuring a pool table, foosball table, and a karaoke system. The ambiance is amplified by custom Jack Daniel’s lighting, chandeliers, and murals, while expert bartenders craft a wide variety of drinks, from premium whiskies and vodkas to handcrafted mocktails and cocktails.

This single card is the key to accessing all affiliated service clubs, sports facilities, and even movie theatres across Port Blair. Members can use the card for on-spot payments, making transactions seamless and secure. A dedicated 24x7 server with a firewall, supported by a high-speed internet connection, ensures data security and facilitates online transactions.
